My name is Zelig Goodman-Hoffman and I am an architectural photographer currently based in Philadelphia! I specialize in photographing architectural interiors/exteriors, the construction process and gallery artwork. I like to tell the story of a space while also making it aesthetically appealing through my unique perspective. In terms of my background, I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. This led to me wanting to pursue photography as a career. I went to college for photography and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in May of 2024 with a BFA degree and a minor in marketing.
While in college, I was certain I found my calling the moment I stumbled upon my first architectural magazines. I then tested out my newfound interest, and the feeling I got from the shutter clicking and then a stunning image of architecture showing up on my camera screen was this sense of passion and purpose I had never felt before. With my architectural photography work, I strive for the perfect combination of impeccably timed natural lighting and a well thought-out composition. I take the boring out of buildings, although I am a lover of all buildings, and make them into a piece of art the architect intended them to be. I have a knack for what makes a good architectural image and often take advantage of this even when not in an ideal situation.
With practice and growth comes progress and opportunity and I am a strong believer that 10,000 hours of practice and growth makes you a master of your craft. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, I further myself in the journey of becoming a master of my craft.
