My name is Zelig Goodman-Hoffman and I am a multi-faceted photographer who graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in May of 2024 with a BFA degree in photography and a minor in marketing. I specialize in photographing architectural interiors and exteriors, the construction process and gallery artwork. I like to tell the story of a space while making it aesthetically appealing. I have a comprehensive knowledge of natural lighting and how the path of the sun affects my photographs.
I knew I found my calling the moment I stumbled upon my first architectural magazines. My architectural photography work is the perfect combination of impeccably timed natural lighting and a well thought-out composition. I am a naturalist when it comes to editing my work, while still showing off its beauty through my unique point of view. I take the boring out of buildings and make them into a piece of art the architect intended them to be. I have a knack for what makes a good architectural image and often take advantage of this even when not in an ideal situation. The satisfaction I get from the shutter clicking and then a stunning image of architecture showing up on my camera screen makes me jump with joy and excitement. With practice and growth comes progress and opportunity and I am a strong believer that 10,000 hours of practice and growth makes you a master of your craft. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, I inch closer and closer to that goal of being a master of my craft.
